In 1940's Buenos Aires a man leads a double life. While he appears as an abulic who kills time in a bar, in reality he is a resentful man who seeks refuge in crime. But soon, he kills the mafioso for whom he works, becomes independent and forms a gang with two other individuals. When the man is preparing his big score, the wife of one of his accomplices declares her love for him. The fatal outcome is inevitable.
